Christmas is just around the corner, which means it’s time to spread the holiday cheer and wait for Santa to come as you celebrate with family. To get in the festive mood, decorate your Aperto apartment with trending Christmas items that last you through the new year. Although erecting a Christmas tree is the main decor idea, you can break the monotony with simple decorating tips.

Decorations That Transition From Christmas & Into the New Year

Did you know that Christmas trees can also double as New Year’s decorations? Add different ornaments to transition from one holiday to the next. For example, use red and green ornaments during Christmas time and swap them out for white icicles or ribbons for New Year’s. Neutral decorations are a great way to match the winter theme.

Festive banners are also an excellent holiday decoration option. Try hanging them at your apartment’s entrance or around your living room. Finish off by hanging fairy lights on your living room walls, draping them across the Christmas tree, or placing them in jars at your entryway.

A Checklist for Creating a Winter Wonderland in Your Apartment

Nothing says winter wonderland like snowflake lights. Hang these gorgeous lights across your living room to illuminate your apartment during Christmas and keep them through New Year’s for a cozy winter vibe.

Vintage candle holders are also trending holiday decorations that elevate your dining table to match the winter wonderland theme. The metal brings a vintage feel while beautifully contrasting the neutral dining fabric colors.

Start Keeping Your Festive Decorations Through the New Year

Spending time in your modern Aperto apartment should be on your things-to-do list this holiday season. Try choosing trending decor that works for both Christmas and New Year’s. You will cut down on decorating time and have more time to spend with the people you love. After you’ve finished decorating, take some relaxing time for yourself and visit nearby Great Park to play a game of tennis, attend a workshop or stop by for a special drive-in movie event.
