Tis the season! One of the most eventful times of year is upon us, SUMMER. It is the time of the year that we were dreaming of a few months ago while we struggled with cold temps and still being required to stay inside. But as pandemic restrictions begin to lift, there are literally activities springing up left and right and if we give in to them, they can dry out our pockets like the desert sun! Many of you may not care since we’ve been cooped up inside, away from the rest of the world for so long. However, for those that want to enjoy the summer in modesty, here are a few tips for saving money amidst all the upcoming summer events.
Enjoy The Weather
To begin, one of the best things about summer is the weather. From bright sunny skies to blazing temps, it is definitely the time to be outdoors more than any other time of the year so why not enjoy it, inexpensively. From local parks to beaches and lakes, there are many places to enjoy the summer outdoors instead of staying inside your home. Grab some friends or family and have a water gun/water balloon fight. This activity will keep you all active, a bit cooler, and most of all, hydrated. Staying hydrated during the summer is imperative.
Stay At Home
Next, another way to enjoy the summer and not break your bank is to just stay inside. That may not sound as exciting but in life, things are what you make it! If your Aperto apartment has a pool/jacuzzi, grab a towel and go for a refreshing dip, whether alone or with friends. This can be a day or nighttime event. To make it a bit more eventful, delight in some good readily made meals from your local grocer and spirits to liven the mood. No matter what you choose, it will be much cheaper than paying an entrance fee or admission fee to a summer festival, concert, etc.
Saving money during summer can set you up for financial success in relation to year end activities like buying gifts for loved ones during the holidays or even to go on that winter vacation you’ve been dreaming of. Plan and think inexpensively if you are looking to nest on more coins this summer season. Cheers to summer!
